Betty J. (Beavens) Freeman, 88, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at her home in Muhlenberg Twp.

Born in Spring Twp., she was the daughter of the late Henry H. and Minnie (Kurtz) Beavens.

She was the widow of the late Raymond B. Freeman who died on March 19, 1993.

Betty was employed for 20 years at the former William G. Leininger Knitting Mills in Mohnton and for 25 years at the former Cocoosing Incorporated in Sinking Spring, retiring in 1993.

Surviving is a son, Lester H., husband of Sandra Reazor of Temple.  Also surviving are two grandsons, a granddaughter, eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three brothers, two sisters, and a son, Melvin W. Reazor, Jr. on November 18, 2010.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville.
