Carol Ann (Heffner) Nocera, 72, of Cumru Twp., passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Franklin Nocera.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late James F. and Fern (Berger) Heffner.

Carol was a graduate of the Reading High School.  She retired from the Pathmark Corporation.  She was a member of the Kindred Spirits Quilting Guild.

Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Toni M., wife of Ryan R. Karasek of Shoemakersville; Karen R. Nocera and Damien M. Nocera, both of Cumru Twp.  Also surviving is a sister, Jane, wife of Paul “Buddy” Frymoyer of Brecknock Twp. and three grandchildren, Evan, Nathan, and AnnaMarie.

She was predeceased by a sister, Catherine E. Matz.

Funeral Service and Interment will be private.
