Clarence “Rip” Strunk, 79, Shillington, died November 13, 2017.
He was the husband of the late Mary G. Strunk.
Born in Reading he was the son of the late James Sr. and Evelyn Strunk.
He was part owner of Strunk and Strunk Used Auto Parts for 29 years and a driver for Reading Rehabilitation Hospital for 8 years.
He was a member of Christ (Yocom’s) Lutheran Church, Grill.
He is survived by his daughters, Karen (Strunk) Althouse, Reading; Yvonne Strunk (Companion, Brian Claire); and son, Stewart Strunk (Companion, Jennifer Hartman). There are also five grandchildren: Matthew Althouse, Noelle Strunk, Dakota Strunk, Christine Hartman and Jonathan Hartman. And, two great-grandchildren: Haven Strunk and Adalynn Strunk. Other survivors include four brothers and four sisters.
He was predeceased in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Heartland Hospice, 2201 Ridgewood Rd #180, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
