Donald W. Przyjemski, 84, of Reading, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Mifflin Center in Shillington.

He was the loving husband of Roseanne G. (Skowronek) Przyjemski.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Charles and Helen M. (Drobek) Przyjemski.

Donald graduated from Reading High School in 1951.  After graduation he went to work for the Polymer Corporation in Reading.  He joined the Army serving during the Korean War.  After his tour ended he continued working for Polymer retiring in 1995.  He was an active member of Saint Stephen’s PNCC in Reading where he was a member of the Y.M.S. of R. and served on the Church Committee.  He was an avid bowler, a devoted husband and a beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Donna M., wife of Jeffrey Schlouch of Mohnton; Gregory A., husband of Catharine (Lucas) Przyjemski of Mohnton; and David S., husband of Lillian (Maciejewski) Przyjemski of Blandon.

He is also survived by grandchildren, Melanie (Schlouch), wife of Kevin Isett, Jason Schlouch, Joshua, Andrew, Laura and Melia Przyjemski; and great grandchildren, Natalie and William Isett; and a brother, Dennis V. Przyjemski.

He was predeceased by a brother, Richard C. Jimski.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Saint Stephen’s P.N.C.C., 20 St. Stephen’s Church Road, Reading, PA 19607 with Very Rev. Edward D. Ratajack, presiding.

A viewing will be held on Monday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. with a 10:15 a.m. wake service with Parish Committee and Y.M.S. of R participating at Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton.

Interment will be in the St. Stephen’s Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to St. Stephen’s Church at the above address.
