Ethel K. (Blankenbiller) Mason, 91, of Brecknock Twp., passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Manor Care in Spring Twp.

She was the widow of William J. Mason who passed away on July 9, 1998.

Born in Brecknock Twp., she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Freda (Hicks) Blankenbiller.

During her working career she was employed by Ludens Candies in Reading, the Bollman Hat Company in Adamstown, and the Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton and performed cleaning duties as well.  She was a member of Robeson Lutheran Church in Plowville.

Surviving are sons, David R. Frees of Ephrata and Ronald H. Frees of Brecknock Twp.; grandchildren, Michael Frees of Chicago, IL; Valerie Damore of Mohnton; and Michele Frees of Reading.  She is also survived by six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Ethel was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Robeson Church Cemetery, 3520 Plow Road, Mohnton, PA 19540, with Pastor Michael Ware, officiating.
