Fern A. Burkhart Dobstaff, 95, of Robesonia, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the Reading Hospital.

Born on May 12, 1921 in Cedar Top, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Maggie (Kohl) Edwards.

Fern lived 95 beautiful years and was blessed with three wonderful husbands; John G. Burkhart who died in 1969; Chester Keith who died in 1985; and Robert Dobstaff who died in 1997.

She attended Bowmansville School.  She worked at the Berkshire Knitting Mills in Wyomissing, and retired from both Bachman’s Pretzel Factory in Shillington and Alcon (Sharpoint) Corporation in Mohnton.

Surviving are children, Glenn A. Burkhart and Margaret (Peg) Houck.  She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, and one great great great grandchild.

She was predeceased by a son, John R. Burkhart.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Pleasant View Cemetery, 650 Fritztown Road, Sinking Spring, PA.
