John D. Deysher, III, of Towanda, passed away on April 21, 2016 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of John D. Deysher, Jr. of Shillington and the late Virginia (Herb) Deysher.

He was a graduate of the Governor Mifflin High School and received his degree in Chemistry from Penn State University.  He was employed by GTE Sylvania in Towanda for over 30 years until his retirement.

John was an avid rock collector and a member of the Che-Hanna Rock and Mineral Club.  He enjoyed photography and was a member of the Endless Mountains Ham Radio Club. 

Surviving in addition to his father are siblings, Linda, wife of Mike Miller of Portsmouth, VA; Beverly Deysher of Mohnton; and Jane, wife of Robert Nocera of Mohnton; as well as three nieces, a nephew and several great nieces and great nephews.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Graveside Memorial Service on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at Laureldale Cemetery, 4631 Pottsville Pike, Reading, PA 19605, with Pastor Rachael C. Dietz, officiating.
