June E. Davis, 81, of Shillington, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at the Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Vincent J. Davis who died on November 27, 2002.

She was the daughter of the late Wayne H. and Elizabeth (Rickenbach) Blankenbiller.

June was a 1953 graduate of the Shillington High School.  She worked for 30 years at the former Farr’s Shoe Store on Penn Street in Reading and later at the Berkshire Mall.  She also worked at National Penn Bank.   

Surviving are children, Beverly A., wife of Dennis R. Smith of Temple; and Scott V., husband of Cathy E. Davis of Shillington.  Also surviving are grandchildren, Debra M. Smith of Virginia; Matthew D. Smith of Temple and Kayla E. Davis of Shillington; and a sister, Nancy A. Harris of Pittsburgh.
