LCDR Michael Luke Miller, 69 passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017 in Portsmouth, Virginia.

He was the husband of Linda Mae (Deysher) Miller.

Born in West Reading, he was a son of the late Carl and Ruth (Ludwig) Miller.

Michael graduated from Governor Mifflin High School and Penn State University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.  He retired from the U.S. Navy after twenty years and went on to work for SPSA and the Portsmouth Virginia School System.  He enjoyed bowling and meeting with fellow MARMC retires.  He loved trains and was currently building his own steam engine.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Amy E. Miller; Janie Miller Foster and husband Carlton; a brother, David Miller and wife Sandy; and two grandchildren Greg and Sarah Foster.

A Memorial Service was held in Portsmouth Virginia on August 2, 2017 followed by burial with full military honors at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, Virginia.
