William P. Davis, 82, of Flying Hills, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Judy D. (Shepherd) Davis.

Born in Downingtown, PA, he was the son of the late Russell E. and Mabel K. (Kennedy) Davis.

Bill retired from Edge Wallboard Machinery after a long career at LG Industries and Sonoco Products.  He served as Captain of the Minquas Fire Company and founder of the Uwchlan Ambulance Company.

Bill is survived by three children: Robin Davies, Media, PA; Dawn Lauzus (Fred), Strasburg, PA; and Parke Davis (Christina), Willow Street, PA.

Also surviving are 11 grandchildren: Tiffany Davies, Jarred Davies (Jessica), Rachel Davies (Richard Musser),Kendall Davies, Hannah Davies, Joshua Lauzus (Nikki), Gretchen Sherry, Kurt Lauzus, Zackary Davis (Christina), Jeremy Davis, and Luke Davis; and six great grandchildren: Destanee Harrison, Elijah Harrison, Sebastian Davies, Hunter Davies, Jackson Davies, and Dominick Davis

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church, 1 West Wyomissing Avenue, Mohnton, with Pastor Scott A. Widmer, officiating.

Interment following the service will be in Elverson Methodist Cemetery, Elverson, PA.
