Mrs. Arlene Bixler, 89, Gulfport, MS, died Sunday, October 15, 2017.
She was the widow of Walter Ray Bixler.
Mrs. Bixler was born in Reading, PA and had been a resident of the MS Gulf Coast since June 2006, where she was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. She retired from the former National Penn Bank in Boyertown, where she was secretary to the President.
Survivors include her two daughters, Stephanie (Gary) Rhoads and Donna (Robert) Rominger; her son, Jeffrey (Muriel) Bixler; her sister, Fern (Richard) Mosser; her six grandchildren, Renae (Wayne) Kim, Rise (Jason) Edwards, Kyle Rhoads, Tara (Kendall) Ladner, Nancy (John) Miller, and Briana Bixler (Ben) Krieger; and nine great-grandchildren, Brennan, Haley, Aubrie, Bailee, Kenzi, Lorelai, Stella, Quinn, and Rose Arlene.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Edna Noecker, Mabel Huber, and Pauline Werner; and her two brothers, Harry Swartz and Paul Swartz.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc. 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, with Pastor Rachael B. Dietz, officiating.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Mohnsville Cemetery, Mohnton.
