Arthur A. Groff, 81, formerly of Brecknock Twp., passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Maple Farms Nursing Home in Akron, PA.
Born in Brecknock Twp., he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Ella M. (Bowman) Groff.
Arthur was a lifelong Truck Driver and a member of the Teamsters Union. He enjoyed watching NASCAR.
Surviving are two daughters, Valerie E., Wife of David Hatt of Robesonia; and Lisa A., wife of Wilmer Burkholder of Bowmansville.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Chad D. Hatt of Mohnton and Samantha L. Beck of Ephrata; five great grandchildren; siblings, Donald, husband of Patricia Groff of Mohnton; Ethel Depue of Lititz; and Connie, wife of Albert Hollinger of Wyomissing; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one sister, Joyce McLaughlin. He will be missed by his best friend, Buffy.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, with Pastor Zachary Labagh, officiating.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
