Darlene E (Tillman) Eckenroth

Darlene E. (Tillman) Eckenroth, 58, of Kenhorst, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at her home. She was the wife of Ronald L. Eckenroth. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Alice (Seidel) Tillman. Darlene graduated from Reading High School. After graduation, she worked at the former Western Electric. Later, she was a homemaker raising two lovely children. She also worked as a lunch aid for six years at Governor Mifflin Cumru Elementary. She enjoyed her work and the children. Darlene was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Shillington. In addition to her husband, she is survived by their teo children, Aaron C. Eckenroth, of Millmont and LaciAnn A. Eckenroth, of Kenhorst. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Carlene D. Booker and Shealynn E. McGee, both of Kenhorst; four siblings: Dawn, wife of Mike Taddeo, of Reading, Debbie, widow of Frank Uriarte, of Reading, Daryl, husband of Lisa Tillman, of Wyomissing, and Beverly Schaeffer, of Reading. She was predeceased by a sister, Diane Ziegler. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. from Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, with Pastor Thomas Reinsel officiating. A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville.
