Gianni Ferretti Obituary

Gianni Ferretti, 58, of Mohnton, Pa., passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Reading Hospital.

He was the devoted husband of Barbara A. (Trumbore) Ferretti, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage. 

Born in Montorio al Vomano, Italy, he was the son of the late Pietro and Maria Nicolina (Pio) Ferretti.

Gianni came to the U.S. at the age of nine and became a us citizen on November 5th, 1986.   He graduated from the Reading High School in 1977.  He was a longtime employee of the former JR Bailey Seamless Gutters.  He was an avid Penn State and Eagles fan.  He enjoyed watching soccer and fishing with his brothers.

Mr. Ferretti was the beloved father of Jason A. Ferretti of Birdsboro and Step-father of Brock W. Frymoyer fiancé of Gina Falther of Reading.

Also surviving are his siblings, Pierino (Caroline) Ferretti of Sinking Spring; Berardo Ferretti of Leesport; Fiorenzo (Chris) Ferretti of Brecknock Twp.; Mario (Ron Kazmierczak) Ferretti of Windermere , Florida; and Rosina (Salvatore) Pizzuto of Sicily, Italy; a granddaughter, Alisha Ferretti of Mohnton; three nieces, two nephews, and his buddy Duke. Also surviving his loving sister-in-law Mary (Ronnie) long and her three children.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Salvation Army of Reading, 301 S. Fifth Street, Reading, PA 19602.
