Harold L. “Whitey” Ulrich, 90, of Cumru Twp., passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at the Reading Hospital.

He was the widower of Gloria L. (Sterner) Ulrich who passed away in 2004.

Born in Algelica, he was the son of the late William I. and Eva R. (Koch) Ulrich.

Whitey retired from Conrail after 35 years of service.  He loved his cars, owning many antique automobiles.  He enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Mohnton Fish and Game Protective Association; the Grill, Brecknock and Gouglersville Fire Companies; and the Pennwyn Motor Association.  He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during W.W. II.

Surviving is a son, Randy L., husband of Pam Ulrich of Mohnton; grandson, Dennis R., husband of Michelle Ulrich of Mohnton; great grandson, Chase O. Ulrich of Mohnton; brother, Richard L., husband of Linda Ulrich of Robeson Twp.; and brother-in-law, Gerald Sterner of Hamburg.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  

He was predeceased by a brother, William R. Ulrich; and sisters, Marian Bowman and Betty Kohl.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Graveside Service on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Allegheny Union Cemetery, Brecknock Twp.
