Helen A. (Hoyer) Breneman, 96, of Denver, formerly of Mohnton, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 at the Colonial Lodge Community in Denver, PA.
She was the widow of Lewis R. Breneman who died on July 5, 2001.
Born in Mohnton, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Erma (Schlicter) Hoyer.
Helen was a 1940 graduate of the former Mohnton High School. She graduated from McCann Business School in Reading and from the Reading Hospital School of Nursing. She retired after 30 years of employment as an L.P.N. at the Reading Hospital. She was a former member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Mohnton and a member of the Golden Agers. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, canning and speaking fluent PA Dutch. She was a loving mother,who was caring and giving to all in need, asking nothing in return.
Surviving are two sons: Tom, husband of Pamela Breneman of Wernersville and Robert Breneman of Denver; two grandchildren: Jason Breneman of Adamstown; Carlee, wife of David Beck of Collegeville; step-grandson, Jesse Reitz of Wyomissing; and a great granddaughter, Sylvia Beck.
She was predeceased by a sister, Lavern Straub.
