Mrs. Jean L. Blessing, 92, of Brecknock Twp., passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of William E. Blessing who died on October 1, 2008.

Born in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Edmond S. and Ethel B. (Munion) Howard.

She was a graduate of Lebanon High School.  She was a homemaker.   She was a member of Allegheny United Church of Christ.  She waitressed at various restaurants in the area.

Surviving are:

Sons:  Albert W. Blessing

           John J., husband of Linda F. Blessing

           William I. Blessing, all three of Brecknock Twp.

Grandchildren:  Jenny, Matthew and Amy.

Great grandchildren:  Nicholas, Kayla, Allison and Cory.

Sisters:  Sandra Harnish of Myerstown. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her graveside service on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Allegheny Union Cemetery, 1219 Kurtz Mill Road, (Brecknock Twp.) Mohnton, PA 19540, with Rev. Dr. Martha M. Smith, officiating.
