Robert L. Goldsborough, Jr., 54, of Shillington, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Reading Hospital.
He was the husband of Lori J. Mosser.
Born in Ephrata, PA, he was the son of the Robert L. Goldsborough, Sr. of Shillington and the late Betty L. (Styer) Goldsborough.
Bob was a 1981 graduate of the Governor Mifflin High School. After graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served in the Gulf War. After his tour with the Navy he worked as a dispatcher for the former Landis Trucking Company, now S.H. Express. Bob enjoyed camping, riding his Harley, hunting and spending time with his dogs.
Surviving are two children, Bridget L., wife of Michael J. Hinckley of Morgantown; and Chad M. Goldsborough of Shillington.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kaitlynn A. and Kayla A. Hinckley of Morgantown; siblings, Rodney L., husband of Tracy J. Goldsborough of Mohnton; Randy L. Goldsborough of Shillington; and Roxann L. Cox of Shillington, widow of Shane K. Cox; Step mother, Virginia Goldsborough of Shillington; Step daughter, Shannon Aquila of Reading; Step son, Ricky Schlosser of Reading; Step sister, Bernice Jacques of Exeter; and Step brother, Joseph Jaroszenski of Mohnton.
He was predeceased by a step brother, Terrence Reinert.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Thursday August 16 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, PA 19540.
You may visit with the family to offer condolences from 6:00 p.m. until time of service. Please feel free to come in casual clothes.
Interment will be in Allegheny Union Cemetery, Brecknock Twp. on Friday August 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Military Honors.
