Mr. Robert M. Redcay, 80, of Mohnton, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Fairlane Gardens, Exeter Twp.
He was the husband of Linda D. (Ferro) Redcay.
Born in Mohnton, he was the son of the late Stanley F., Sr. and Evelyn J. (Weik) Redcay.
Bob graduated from Governor Mifflin High School, class of 1955. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force serving his country for four years. After his discharge, he was employed at the former Teledyne Corporation in Mohnton for 31 years, retiring in 1989. Later he worked for the Caron Foundation for 12 years. He was a member of Saint John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mohnton as well as a past officer of the Mohnsville Cemetery Board.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, Eric R. Redcay of Limerick; grandchildren,
Jack and Grace Redcay, siblings, Martin A. (Rosalie) Redcay of Mohnton, Stanley F. Redcay, Jr. of Shillington, Ronald J. (Gloria) Redcay of Shillington, Dennis G. (Bonnie) Redcay of Sinking Spring, Donna M. Beissel of Shillington, and Bruce D. Redcay of Silver Spring, MD.
He was predeceased by siblings, Terry K. Redcay in 2008, and Nancy H. Parker in 2017.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, PA, with Pastor Rachel C. Dietz, officiating.
Friends may greet the family to offer condolences on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be in Mohnsville Cemetery, Mohnton.
