Barry Longenecker Obituary

Barry G. Longenecker, 81, formerly of Adamstown, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the Berks Heim Home in Bern Twp.

Born in Mohnton, he was the son of the late Martin and Violet E. (Mosser) Longenecker.

Barry worked at A.G. Kurtz Quarry, Giorgio Mushrooms, and retired from Graffius Burial Vaults. In his retirement he kept busy mowing lawns in and around the Adamstown area. He was a member of Zion E.C. Church in Mohnton. He was know by all for his love of horses and helped and worked on numerous horse farms around Lancaster. He was a past member of the Friendly Horseman’s Club.

He is survived by his nephew, Grant R. Henry of Sinking Spring.

Funeral Service and Interment will be private at Mohnsville Cemetery in Mohnton.
