Bettie L. Schutter

Bettie L. Schutter, 94, of Cumru Twp., passed away on January 20, 2024 at home.  She was born in Denver, PA on June 7, 1929 to John and Violet (Hiester) Mosser.  She graduated from Mohnton High School in 1947.  In 1999 Bettie retired from the Kmart location in Shillington,  after 25 years of service.

For many years, Bettie enjoyed her involvement with the Mohnton Seniors group as well as volunteering at the Meals on Wheels location in Shillington.  She was a loving and supportive mother to her five children and will be deeply missed by her family.

Bettie was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother, John L. Mosser.  She is survived by her brother, Daniel L. Mosser (Maggie) and sister, Nancy L. Smith, as well as children, Diane L. Lewis (Richard Kolb), Monte R. Schutter (Mimi), Randall A. Schutter, Timothy P. Schutter (Lani) and Kimberly A. Spengler (Robert).  Bettie is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral Service and interment will be private.
