Obituary
Betty M. (Rickenbach) Villforth, 99, passed away May 14, 2023 at Country Meadows. Her husband, Richard Villforth, died November 17, 2021. They were married 72 years.
Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late William S. and Mayme B. (Mory) Rickenbach. She was a 1941 graduate of Reading High School. She attended the Helen Moore Hoffman Secretarial School for Girls and was employed by the Orphans Court of Berks County. After marriage she devoted herself to family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Reading where she served in the Nursery Department for 25 years.
Betty enjoyed reading, watching soap operas, OCNJ, travelling, babies and time with her family. Surviving are: Daughters: Kathleen (Oliver) McComsey and Joyce (Craig) Caltagirone. Grandchildren: Kelly (Stephen) Bennett, Erin (Daniel) Sea, Laura Rudy, Megan (Nick) Habecker. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother William Stanley Rickenbach.
The family is extremely grateful for the loving care provided to Betty from the staff of Country Meadows Pathway Unit and Grane Hospice.
