C. Isabel (Plucker) Barr

Candace Isabel Barr, 89, also known as C. Isabel, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Manor Care in Sinking Spring.  She was a 58 years resident of Mohnton.

She was the wife of the late Richard B. Barr, Jr, who died on January 8, 2014.

Born in Madiencreek Township (Blandon), Isabel was the daughter of the late Herbert A. and Ida (Bur Kert) Plucker.

She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mohnton.  Isabel was a 1950 graduate of Muhlenberg High School.  She worked numerous jobs, last working at Spencer Shoes and Nicholas Store, before retirement.

Survived by her daughter, Candace Kline (Keith); two sons, Richard Barr III (Tina) and Andrew Barr.  Also surviving are five grandchildren:  Allison, Brent, Amanda, Sara and Steven; great granddaughter, Aubrey and brothers, Richard and Myron Plucker.

She was predeceased by her brothers, William and Herbert Plucker; a sister, Ardell Rickenbach; a son, Brian Barr and a granddaughter, Stephanie Stoudt.

Service and burial will be private in Madiencreek Cemetery in Blandon.
