Carol J. Kissinger, 87, of Mohnton, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Reading Hospital.
She was the widow of Kenneth G. Kissinger who died on March 8, 2020.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Viola (Snyder) Kerchner.
Carol was employed as a secretary by the former Address O Graph and Multigraph of West Reading. Later she was a supervisor at Sharpoint in Mohnton. She and her daughter co owned the Reading Country Basket Catering.
Carol and Kenny spend close to 65 of the best years of their lives together going on Cruises and loved each other to the fullest. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mohnton.
Surviving are children: Sheryl L., widow of Kenneth J. McCloskey of Cresco; Kathy L., wife of James W. Schildt, Jr. of Reading; Douglas A. Kissinger of Reading and Tracy L. Merkle of Mohnton. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Kenneth A. Kissinger.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 11:30 A.M. at Eplers Church Cemetery, 1183 W. Leesport Road, Leesport, PA 19533.
