Charles H. “Chuck” Berg, 80, of Mohnton, passed away at home on August 14, 2023.
Born on November 17, 1942 in Reading, he was the son of Charles W. and Virginia E. (Krick) Berg. He left rememberable imprint on everyone who he met. Chuck was a devoted husband to Carolyn M. (Rudisill) Berg. Together, they had a combined family of five children: Sherry Berg, wife of Dennis Katrinak; Laurie Berg Colon; Jeffrey Berg, Lloyd Fox and Danelle Fox Sullivan. He is also survived by his brother Kenneth Berg, husband of Kathy; and their two children, Kristin and Kevin Berg and their children. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Chuck graduated from Governor Mifflin High School. He spent many years as an HVAC technician which he learned from his father. He was a man of many interests and hobbies. He was a passionate Harley rider whose love for the open road was infectious. He was an Assistant Director and lifetime member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) and had a black belt in Karate. His infectious laughter, love and warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a man with a big heart and his generosity. His life was a testament to his strong character and unwavering commitment to family and friends. He cherished every moment of his life and pursued his passions to the fullest. His memory will continue to inspire and guide all those left behind.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday, August 18, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. from Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home, 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton. A viewing will be held on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Mohnsville Cemetery. www.gilesandyeckley.com
