Clyde I. Cooper, 90, formerly of Robeson Twp., passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at the Phoebe Berks Home in Wernersville.
He was the widower of Mary E. (Topping) Cooper, who died on May 28, 2007.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late George E. and Edith D. (Hoffert) Cooper.
After high school, Clyde joined the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean War. He worked as a builder of manufactured homes. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints in Reading.
Surviving are Children: Christian, husband of Susan Cooper of Sandy, UT; Faith, wife of David Hix of Birdsboro; Gary, husband of Annelie Cooper of Gothenburg, Sweden, and George Cooper of Reading. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife and daughter Anne Tunbridge, son-in-law, Kim Tunbridge and sister, Shirley A. Blake.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. from Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3344 Reading Crest Avenue, Reading, PA 19605.
A viewing will be held from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M.
Interment will follow at Allegheny Union Cemetery, Brecknock Twp.
