Daniel A. Drexler, 40, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 12, 2018 surrounded by his family at the Hershey Medical Center.
Born October 16, 1977 in Reading, he was the son of loving parents Thomas G. and Peggy A. (Witman) Drexler.
Daniel was a graduate of Reading High School. He served in the U.S. Army for four years and the reserves for two more. Everyone was proud of his military service. Daniel loved his country.
He loved spending time with his family. Daniel could always light up a room. At holiday gatherings, his jokes and wit were loved by all. He loved his mom’s wonderful cooking. He also liked to have parties of his own. His nephew Frankie loved his hamburgers. He also enjoyed setting off fireworks. I’ll bet he is setting them off right now. He liked to go fishing with his dad. They always caught plenty of fish. Daniel had a small painting business which he enjoyed.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Sarah A. Drexler of Reading and Kathryn E. Kolar of Everett, WA, both of whom loved him very much. He also is survived by many aunts and uncles. Stay goofy Daniel, we love you!
