David S. Kretz

David Scott Kretz of Reading, Pa. passed away on July 5, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in West Reading, Pa., on July 29, 1962. He was the son of Harold J. Kretz Jr. and Greta Schladitz Kretz.

A graduate of Wyomissing Area High School, David went on to work at Yeager Plumbing Supply for 25+ years.

He is survived by his wife Carol Kmak Kretz, children David Michael Kretz (Courtney), Tim Kmak, Christy Davis (Jeff) and Jenny Colon (Johnny). David was also grandfather to 8 grandchildren. David is also survived by brothers Harold J. III, Charles P. and Richard M. Kretz. David was predeceased by his parents and brother Mark W. Kretz.

David loved his dogs, sharing his home with numerous furry companions throughout his life. David also enjoyed attending Heavy Metal shows with his friends Billy and Brian.

 As per David's wishes no Services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
