David J. Strick, 70, of Brecknock Twp., passed away peacefully on Monday, September 27, 2021, surrounded by his wife and three sons, as he would say, “just us”.
He was the husband of Elaine A. (Bachetti) Strick.
Born in Danville, PA, he was the son of the late David T. and Martha (Switay) Strick.
David was the owner and operator of Trade Masters Inc. which he and his wife co-founded in 1975. He always greeted you with “It’s a great day here at Trade Masters”. David was an avid outdoorsman whose hobbies included golfing, hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family at “On Eagle’s Wings Lodge” in Tioga County, PA. He was a member of Saint John the Baptist de la Salle R.C. Church in Shillington and the Richmond Solomon’s Lodge No. 3, F. & A.M.
Surviving in addition to his wife is his three sons: David A., fiancé of Lora L. Evans of Flying Hills; John G., husband of Aimee D. Strick of Reading and Andrew P., husband of Crystal D. Strick of Mohnton.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Brittany, Kirsten, Samantha, Sophie, Jocelyn, Natalie, Tanner, Abigail, Aubrey and Casey, and a sister, Francine R., wife of Jan Nowacki of Philadelphia.
Relatives and Friends are invited to greet the family to offer condolences on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Chapel Hill Golf Course, 2023 Old Lancaster Pike, Reading, PA 19608. A memorial service starting at 12:00 noon will follow the greeting period.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-2497.
