Dennis A. Rohrbach, 79, of Mohnton, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the Reading Hospital.
He was the widower of Annetta M. (Ritter) Rohrbach who died on May 12, 2007.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Merrill and Ella (Hinkle) Rohrbach.
Dennis was a graduate of the Reading High School. After school he joined the U.S. Army. Upon his discharge he went to work for the Quaker Maid Company, and eventually retired from Carpenter Technology, both in Reading. Dennis was a member of the Washington Camp # 211, P.O.S.A.; the Berks County Mustang Club; and enjoyed spending time with his buddies at Roger’s Garage. Dennis could be seen at one of several eateries but most notably Ranck’s, Saville’s or Yoder’s.
Surviving are his children, Denise L., wife of Dennis L, Hepner, Jr. of Temple and Terry A., husband of Karen S. Rohrbach of Columbus, OH. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Brandon C., James B. and Jack E. Rohrbach and seven siblings: Terry M., husband of Natalie Rohrbach of Temple; John W., husband of Linda Rohrbach of Shillington; Robert L., husband of Maryann Rohrbach of Muhlenberg Park; Eileen, widow of John Dussinger of Laureldale; Joyce B., wife of Steve Burkey of Sinking Spring; Shirley Petery of Sinking Spring; and Vicki, wife of Rick Perrandi of Sinking Spring.
Dennis was predeceased by ten siblings.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, with Pastor Merrill Marisseau, officiating.
A viewing will be held on Sunday from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
