Dianne Snyder Obituary

We gather to bid a fond farewell to a beacon of light and love, Dianne Marie Snyder, who was called to the Lord's heavenly abode on March 31, 2024.

Born on a spring day in 1955 in the Reading Hospital, Dianne graced this world with her presence until her departure at the age of 69, concluding a beautiful cycle of life. Dianne, a woman whose heart was as vast as the skies above, was embraced by the arms of her Creator following a heart attack and stroke. Her spirit, now free from the earthly vessel, soars high like the birds she so dearly loved to watch.  Dianne was a cherished soul, a cornerstone of her family.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Robert S. Snyder, her loving daughter, Tammy J. Mankey, and her stepdaughter, Stephanie Skipper. The light of her life shone brightly through her grandchildren, Summer M. Mankey, River Aiken, and Samantha (Skipper) Mali, who will carry her legacy forward.

Born to the late Francis Jasinski and Barbra (Delong) Glass, Dianne was one of seven siblings. She now joins her late brothers, John Jasinski, Steven Jasinski, and Dennis Jasinski in the Kingdom of Heaven, while her brothers Jim Jasinski, Robert Jasinski, and her sister Karen (Jasinski) Rhoads continue to walk the path that she lit with her kindness. She is also survived by her Aunt Irene, several sister and brother in laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

After graduating from Twin Valley High School, Dianne dedicated many years of service at the R.M. Palmer Candy Company, where her sweet disposition was a perfect match for the treats she helped create. Her retirement years were filled not only with leisure but with the joy of giving and sharing. Dianne's interests were simple yet profound. She found peace in bird watching, bowling, taking trips to Walt Disney World and Knoebels Amusement Resort. She loved the excitement in a friendly game of bingo, freedom in boating, and tranquility in camping under the stars These were the moments where she found her connection to God's wondrous creation. Described as loving, faith-filled, and courageous, her faith was the compass that guided her through life's storms, and her courage was the light that led her through the darkest nights. As we reflect on the beauty that was Dianne's life, let us recall the words of the beloved Psalmist, King David, who sang, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1). Dianne lived as one who wanted for nothing more than to love and be loved, to serve and be served by the Lord she adored. Her life was a testament to the grace of God, a song of praise sung through her actions and the love she shared while attending St John's Lutheran Church in Mohnton, PA. Today, as we remember Dianne, let us celebrate the joy she brought to each of us. Her laughter, her devotion, her indomitable spirit—these are the gifts she leaves behind, treasures more precious than gold. Though her physical presence is no longer with us, Dianne's spirit remains. It dances in the rustling leaves, it resonates in the songs of birds, and it lives in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Let us hold fast to the memories, to the lessons, and to the love that Dianne Marie Snyder bestowed upon this world. As we commit her soul to the Almighty, let us walk forward in the light of her memory, inspired by her faith, and emboldened by her courage. In the words of the Apostle Paul, "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21). Dianne lived for Christ, and now, she has gained the eternal joy that awaits her in the Kingdom of Heaven. Go forth, Dianne, into the loving embrace of our Savior. Your journey here is complete, but your story lives on.
