Born on October 7, 1934, in the same welcoming town, Dotty's presence was a testament to the strength of community and the power of a loving heart.
Dotty spent her early years in Reading, where she cultivated a life rich with relationships and service. She was a dedicated worker at the Bowman Hat Factory.
A lifetime member of the Gouglersville Fire Company, Dotty's commitment to her community was unwavering. She was the embodiment of service and played an integral role in the fire company's events and activities.
Dotty was the loving sister of Patsy Rice, Janet Bohn, Carol Hassler, and David Blimline. She was a cherished sibling who brought joy and laughter to every family gathering. Her sisters and brother will remember her for her generous spirit and the countless memories they shared throughout the years. Dotty's legacy of love and passion will continue to live on through them.
Those who knew Dotty will remember her for her friendliness. She greeted everyone with a smile that could light up a room and a kindness that was genuinely heartfelt.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton.
A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
Interment will follow the service at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring.
