Irene J. (Tinus) Dobson, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the Mifflin Center in Shillington.
She was the wife of John R. “Jack” Dobson, who died on October 3, 2007.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late George and Sophie (Mazur) Tinus.
Irene was a graduate of the former Shillington High School. She retired from the former Lucent Technologies. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Gouglersville.
Surviving are children, Eileen J., wife of Douglas C. Rentschler of Bernville; Jacquelyn A., wife of Dean Y. Hirneisen of Mohnton; John R.,III, husband of Shelly M. Dobson of Sturgeon Bay, WI and Jill I, wife of Bryan Bourgeois of Underhill, VT.
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two brothers.
She was predeceased by siblings Eleanor Rebholz, Carol Fox and Eugene Tinus and a grandchild, Christopher Rentschler.
Funeral service and interment will be private.
