Jane K. (Schildt) Miller

Jane K. (Schildt) Miller, 86, of Brecknock Township passed away on September 16th peacefully in her home. She was the daughter of the late Ruby Schildt and J. Wilmer Schildt Sr. and the loving wife of the late Paul G. Miller, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.

Jane was a 1954 graduate of Mt. Penn High School. She enjoyed walking around her property and delighted in the joys of nature. She treasured traveling to the US National Parks with her late husband Paul.

Jane devoted her life to her family and is survived by 4 children: Eric Miller, husband of Michelle Ernst, of Reading; Lisa Miller of Mohnton; Kimm Miller of Brecknock Township; Greg Miller, husband of Betsey Carlisle, of Mohnton; three grandchildren, Amber Miller, Bree Weister, Courtnee Weister; five great-grandchildren, LJ, Cameron, Destiny, Everlee, and Ella; along with many nieces and nephews.  She is also survived by a sister, Marilyn Henderson, brother James Schildt, and predeceased by sister, Carol Lewis.  She will be greatly missed by all, including her cat Lily.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
