Joanne M. (Burger) Brendel

Joanne M. Brendel, 74 of West Lawn, passed away on Thursday October 7, 2021.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years Arthur William (Bill) Brendel.

Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rodney E. and Marian A. (Confer) Burger.

Joanne worked for the Federal Government for 16 years then was employed in the banking industry retiring from BB&T.  She enjoyed, bowling, word searches, her pets, and time with her family.

She is survived by in-laws John R. “Jack”, husband of Helen, Katherine M. Brendel, Linda L. (Brendel) Roth, Nancy S. (Brendel) Morey wife of Irv, and Nancy (Mentzer) Brendel wife of the late Charles Jeremiah “Jerry” Brendel.

She was preceded in death by her in-laws Marie Tamson “Dolly” (Brendel) Pauley, Janet (Brendel) Miller, Wister G Brendel, Ruthanne Brendel, Charles J Brendel, and Margery D. (Brendel) Ritter.

The viewing will be held at Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, on Thursday, October 14th. at 10:00 am with the Funeral to follow at 11:00 am.  Interment will at Laureldale Cemetery.
