John W. Rowe

Mr. John W. Rowe, 97, formerly of Mohnton, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024 in Ephrata, PA.

He was the husband of Dorismarie (Gift) Rowe.

Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Arthur and Alethea (Werner) Rowe.

John was graduate of Mohnton High School.  After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy.  He was employed as an Insurance Agent.  John was active in his community as a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, and was a 75 year member of the Mohnton Cumru Lions Club. 

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Susan M. Wahl; grandson, Patrick J. Shappell, wife of Shannon D.; Grandchildren:  Shannon M. Merrick, Patrick J. Shappell, Sean J. Shappell, Andrew J. Merrick and Joseph A. Merrick.

Funeral Service and Interment will be private.
