Joyce E. Gable

Joyce E. (Miller) Gable, 88, of Cumru Township, passed away Thursday, October 6th surrounded by her loving family at Reading Hospital Tower Health.

She was married to the late Dr. Franklin E. Gable who passed away in 2009.  Born in Gouglersville, she was the daughter of the late Clarence K. Miller and Dorothy (Baer) Miller. She also was lovingly raised by the late Myrl (Worley) Miller.

Surviving are Jeffrey C. Gable and his wife, Diane of Mohnton, Lori E. Gable of Shillington, and Frank R. Gable and wife Angela of Shillington. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Max Gable, Leah Redding, Sally Gable, Georgia Gable, Ryan Gable,  Adrienne Hill, and Jeffrey R. Gable, and predeceased by a grand-daughter, Frances Gable. She also had 5 great-grandchildren: Dominic, Lily, Alyssa, Wylder and Athena. She is also survived by a step-brother, George Wien of Plano Texas and predeceased by 2 sisters, Ann Byrd and Marion (Peggy) Hummel.

Services were at the convenience of the family.
