Born on March 18, 1958, in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, to John William White and Katherine Mitchell, Lang's life was one of courage, love, and unwavering positivity.
Lang grew up in Pottstown, where he attended Pottstown High School and later went on to work as a dedicated factory worker at Little Lake Corp. His work ethic was unparalleled, but it was his culinary skills and passion for cooking that truly brought joy to those around him. Whether grilling for neighbors or lending his talents to the local church food pantry, Lang's cooking was a testament to his generous spirit.
Beyond his work, Lang found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He was an avid fisherman, waiting patiently for the next catch. His love for R&B soul music and 80's sitcoms filled his home with laughter, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all who entered.
Lang's family was the cornerstone of his life. He leaves behind a loving legacy through his children, Langston White Jr. and his fiancée Mary Neiman, and Amber White (Hinks) and her fiancée Andrew Hinks. His grandchildren, Anijah White, Alex Hinks, and Amelia Hinks, will carry forward his spirit of courage and optimism. Lang's siblings, Katrina White and William White, will hold dear the memories of their brother's unwavering support and kindness. He is predeceased by his brother Anthony White and sister Rose Mitchell, who he now joins in eternal peace.
Lang's life was one of connection and community. He will be remembered by a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends whose lives he touched with his courageous heart. His ability to see the good in every situation and his readiness to help others have left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have known him.
