Liane Rinehart Obituary

Liane Ruth Rinehart, departed from this world on December 6, 2025, at the age of 87 while surrounded by her family.   Born on January 18, 1938, in Reading, Pennsylvania, Liane's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and unwavering belief. She was a woman of profound Christian faith who lived a life full of grace and devotion.

Liane grew up in Berks County, where she attended Mohnton High School.  Her dedication, and work ethic was evident through her employment at Rinehart's Market, where she was employed during the 1970's. Throughout her life, she balanced her employment responsibilities at Nichols Department Store, Bachman's, and Dolfin Sportswear with the demanding and rewarding role as a homemaker.

Married for 67 years to her beloved husband, George Rinehart Sr., Liane's love story was one for the ages, a true partnership that stood the test of time and change. Together, they raised a family that became Liane's greatest pride and joy. She was a nurturing mother to her daughter, Pamela Shenk (Joe), and her sons, Paul (Lori), George Jr. (Mary), and David (Tammy). Liane's love and legacy extended to her grandchildren, Rebecca, Abbey, George III (Ashley), Katie (Bryan), Elizabeth (Ryan), Allison, Jennifer (Andre), and Janelle. She cherished her role as a great-grandmother to Aidyn, Lawson, Ridley, Cole, and Megan, each of whom brought immense happiness and purpose to her life.

Liane's faith was her compass, guiding her through life's trials and triumphs. Her dedication to Christian values was evident in her kindness, her generosity, and her unwavering support for those she loved. She was an active and devoted member of her church, Wyomissing UCC in Gouglersville, PA.

Liane loved playing BINGO, and she enjoyed the excitement of a lottery ticket. She was an avid Penn State fan, loved Elvis and his music. Liane proudly embraced her Kohl heritage. She was the oldest of 15 children.  She always  ensured that the traditions and values of her ancestors continued through the generations.
