Linda Rae Highduch (Watson), 76, of Shillington died Friday, October 22, 2021, at Tower Health Reading Hospital. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Russell and Carrie Lang. She was a graduate of Altoona Area High School.
Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was married to her honey, Joseph H. Highduch for 48 years until his passing in 2015. Linda was an avid baker. She enjoyed crafts, games, puzzles, and spending time with her family – including bingo with her sisters.
Linda is survived by her two sons Jason Highduch (wife Kara) and Joseph Highduch (wife Hazel); grandchildren Kaitlyn and Lauren; sisters Grace Ritchey (husband Roger) and Corine “Doll” Cowan (husband Gordon “Gordie”); and sister-in-law Cecelia “Cissie” Watson.
In addition to her husband of 48 years, Linda was predeceased in death by her siblings: Fran Watson, Fred Watson, Carol Nagl, Marlene Harris, Estella Wise, Sondra Boyles, Jim Lang, Susan Jo Watson and Kenneth Watson.
Honoring Linda’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services. We ask that you keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
