Mary L. Hill

Mary Louise (Heilman) Hill, 93, of Cumru Twp., passed away on January 11, 2024 at the Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Raymond G. Hill.

Mrs. Hill graduated from the Shillington High School in 1948.  She attended Penn State University and Ottawa University in Kansas City, and the Reading Hospital School of Nursing.  She was a 44 year employee of the Reading Hospital as a CRNA retiring in 1996.  She was a member of Allegheny Evangelical Lutheran Church and Eastern Star and enjoyed traveling in their RV (to all 50 States) including trips to Germany, France and Italy. 

Surviving in addition to her husband are brothers, Henry M., husband of Christine Kohl of Harrisburg and  Dennis C., husband of Jane Kohl of Mohnton.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Rene G. Hill on February 23, 1993.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Allegheny Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1327 Alleghenyville Road, Mohnton, PA.

Friends may greet the family from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the church.

Interment will be private at a later date in Forest Hills Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alumni Association Reading Hospital School of Nursing, P.O. Box 6248, Wyomissing, PA 19610, to honor her through scholarships or other alumni services.
