Michele A. Kiselosky, a beacon of creative light and loving energy, passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 50, due to liver failure in Reading, Pennsylvania. Born on April 22, 1975, Michele's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with the threads of adventure, compassion, and the joy of simple pleasures.
Michele, a graduate of Holy Name High School, class of 1993, carried the spirit of her education throughout her life. She devoted many years as a server at Dan’s at Green Hills, where she was known not just for her professional service but also for her infectious laughter and the personal touch she brought to every table. Her colleagues and customers alike will remember her for the warmth and kindness she radiated every day.
Beyond her work, Michele's life was rich with interests and hobbies that reflected her adventurous and creative soul. She was an excellent cook, often experimenting with new flavors and recipes. Michele found peace and contentment in the outdoors. Camping and traveling were passions of hers, as she sought to explore the beauty of the natural world.
Crafting was another joy in Michele’s life, with knitting and crocheting being particular favorites. Michele loved reading and she could often be found lost in the pages of a book, traveling to distant lands and times through the power of storytelling.
Michele’s adventurous spirit was matched by her loving heart. She and her life partner, Mark Steffy, shared a bond that was both extraordinary and inspiring. Together, they followed the band Phish across the country, attending over 150 shows during their 32 years together. These experiences were not just about the music but about the shared moments, the communities they encountered, and the lifelong memories they created.
Described by those who knew her best as creative, loving, and adventurous, Michele lived her life with an open heart and an open mind. She had the remarkable ability to make everyone she met feel like the most important person in the world. Her presence was a gift, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the fortune to cross her path.
Michele is survived by her devoted life partner, Mark Steffy, who will carry forward the light of her love. She leaves behind a legacy of joy, creativity, and the courage to embrace life's journey with enthusiasm and wonder. Her boundless and beautiful spirit will never be forgotten.
Relatives and Friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. from Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton. There will not be a public Funeral Service, just the viewing period.
