Michelle L. (Gehris) Ulrich

Michelle L. (Gehris) Ulrich, 46, of Mohnton, passed away as a result of COVID-19, on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at 3:05 p.m. at the Reading Hospital with family by her side.

She was the wife of Dennis R. Ulrich.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Owen L. and Jean M. (Trievel) Gehris.

Michelle was a 1992 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School.   She was employed at Santander Bank for 21 years last working remotely until April 2 of this year.  She was a member of Holy Cross U.M.C. Reading & Calvary Campuses.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. 

Surviving in addition to her husband and parents is her son, Chase O. Ulrich who is 8 years old; a brother, Jason M., husband of Abby N. Gehris and Rochelle L., wife of Michael C. Pelachick who is like a sister to her.  Also surviving is her niece Laila Gehris, a nephew, Jerome Gehris and her goddaughter, Rebecca Pelachick. 

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her viewings on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, PA.  A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Mohnsville Cemetery, Mohnton, with Rev. Mandy Miller, officiating.  We ask that you follow COVID-19 safety protocol if attending the viewing and service.
