Norman T. Lutz, 82, of Spring Twp., passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at home after a long illness.
He was the husband of Deanna F. (Myers) Lutz with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late John and Catherine (Shappell) Lutz.
Norman retired from the former John Pfrommer Trucking Company in Douglassville in 2000. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a Veteran of the US Army Corps., serving from 1956 – 1959. He enjoyed working around the house, video games and word search puzzles.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Crystal Lee (Lutz), wife of Stephen P. Nagle of West Lawn; grandchildren, Joshua S. Nagle of Reading and Conner R. Nagle of West Lawn; siblings, John, husband of Shirley Lutz of Bloomsburg and Sue Blessing of Reading.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Sherry Lynn Lutz in 1976, four brothers and two sisters.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. from Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, with Pastor Robert W. Shuey, officiating.
Friend may call to greet the family on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will follow the service at Mohnsville Cemetery.
