Patricia N. Rapp, fondly known as Pat to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, at the age of 88 in Spring Township, Pennsylvania. Born on April 19, 1936, in Cedar Top, PA, Pat's life was one filled with love, dedication, and service to those around her.
Pat's journey began in the small community of Cedar Top, where she was born into a bustling household that would eventually include her ten siblings. She spent her childhood surrounded by the love and camaraderie that only such a large family can provide. Though she eventually saw the passing of her siblings, the bonds and memories they shared remained a treasured part of her legacy.
In her professional life, Pat was known for her compassionate nature and work ethic. She dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a Nurse's Aide at the Wyomissing Lodge and Mifflin Center. Later, she continued her calling in the field of Home Health, where her kindness and care left a lasting impact on the lives of her patients and their families.
Pat's commitment to her community was evident through her active involvement with the Cedar Top Woman's Ladies Auxiliary and the League of Golden Agers. Her participation in these organizations demonstrated her belief in giving back and her desire to make a difference in the lives of the elderly in her community.
Family was the cornerstone of Pat's life. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her children, Christine L. Boltz of Shillington, Kenneth A. (Susan) Rapp of Birdsboro, Rebecca N. (Aaron) Kreider of Mohnton, Brian Ely of Mohnton, Laura J. (James) Biessel of South Carolina, and Norman (Elizabeth) Miller of Mohnton, will cherish her memory and continue to live by the values she instilled in them. Pat's love story with her husband, the late Kenneth D. Rapp, was a testament to unwavering partnership and mutual respect. Their time together was cut short by his passing, but the love they shared continues to resonate with everyone who knew them.
The loss of her grandson, Jeffery Boltz, Jr., and her eight siblings was a profound sorrow for Pat, yet she carried on with strength and grace, honoring their memory in her daily life. Her resilience in the face of such loss was an inspiration to her family and all who knew her.
Pat's life was marked by her unwavering spirit and the joy she found in simple pleasures. Her ability to find happiness in the everyday was a lesson she passed on to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Graveside Service on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Robeson Lutheran Church Cemetery, 3520 Plow Road (Rt. 10) Robeson Twp., PA.
