Peggy A. (Brendle) Mohn

Obituary

Peggy A. (Brendle) Mohn, affectionately known as Peg, passed away on June 17, 2023, in Reading, PA, the same city where she was born on April 6, 1946. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who touched the lives of many with her loving, kind, and generous spirit.

Peg was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary E. (Stork) Brendle. She was a proud graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. After graduation, she embarked on a successful career as a self-employed cleaning service provider, demonstrating her strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Throughout her life, Peg was an active member of her community. She was a devoted member of Wyomissing United Church of Christ, where she contributed her time and talents in various capacities. Her faith was a guiding force in her life, providing her with a sense of purpose and an unwavering commitment to helping others.

Peg's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, who she cherished deeply. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert L. Mohn, and her adored granddaughter, Ashlynn R. Mohn. Peg was predeceased by her three sons, Daniel L. Mohn (1968), Gregory A. Mohn (1995), and David L. Mohn (2021), and her siblings, Harvey, Charles, and James Brendle, and Gloria Seidel.

Peg's life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and resilience. She faced many challenges and heartaches, but she never lost her ability to find joy in the simple things and to inspire others with her strength and grace. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her, and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
