Mr. Raymond G. Hill, of Cumru Twp., passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2025 at the Reading Hospital.
He was the widower of Mary L. (Heilman) Hill.
Born in Cumru Twp., he was the son of the late Irvin and Carrie (Reinert) Hill.
Mr. Hill was a graduate of the former Shillington High School. Upon graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy and later the Air National Guard, 148 Fighter Squadron in Reading. His unit was activated at the end of W.W.II and Korea. He was employed by Bethlehem Steel working at the Grace Mine in Birdsboro for 29 years. Ray was a dedicated member of Allegheny Lutheran Church; the Rajah Shrine in Reading, for over 70 years; Mohnton VFW; American Legion, Post 12; an Officer for Penn Coachman Family Motor Home Assoc. and a Leader for the Allegheny Boy Scout Troop.
Surviving are his brother in laws, Henry M. Kohl and Dennis C. Kohl. He was pre-deceased by his daughter, Rene G. Hill and siblings, Harvey, Leroy, Esther, James, Mary, John and Floyd Hill.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Allegheny Lutheran Church, 1327 Alleghenyville Road, Mohnton, PA 19540.
Interment will be held at a later date due to the predicted weather.
