Robert E. Kohl, 72, of Brecknock Twp., passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at home.
He was the husband of Susan E. (Houston) Kohl.
Born in Reading, he was the son of William H. and Pauline (Bonsall) Kohl.
Robert was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. He most recently worked from Clem’s Lock & Key, last working on Friday. He was a member of the Pennwyn Motor Association and the Gouglersville Fire Company. He enjoyed watching NASCAR.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters: Tina L. Kohl and Sheri A. Kohl, both of Reading; three step-sons, David R. Okonski of Antietam; Joseph R. Okonski of West Lawn and Jesse S. Berger of Sinking Spring.
Grandchildren: Brianna N. Tyson, Michael A. Tyson, Jr., Chantz H. Tyson and Jabari D. Wall, all of Reading; Gage Okonski, Tyler Okonski, Bryce Okonski, Cassidy Okonski and Margaret Okonski, all of Antietam; and Five Great Grandchildren.
Also surviving are siblings: William H. Kohl of Sinking Spring; Thomas J. Kohl of West Lawn, Raymond J. Kohl of Kenhorst; Theodore P., Kohl and Randy S. Kohl, both of Douglassville; Terry S. Kohl of Lancaster; and David A. Kohl of Reading; Liane Rinehart of Mohnton; Nancy Potts of Stevens; Inez Graves of South Carolina; Wynette Grace of Tannersville; Polly Kohl of West Lawn and Kay Yost of Sinking Spring.
He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Kohl.
Funeral Service and Interment will be private.
