Ronald E. Kriner Jr., affectionately known as Ronnie to his friends and family, passed away on November 9, 2024, at the age of 58, after a courageous battle with colon cancer. Ronnie was a lifelong resident of Reading, Pennsylvania, where he was born on November 6, 1966, to Margaret and the late Ronald Kriner Sr. Ronnie was a proud graduate of Reading High School. He dedicated nearly two decades of his life to working at Godiva Chocolate, where he formed many friendships and considered many as his family. Ronnie's life was one of simple pleasures and steadfast commitments. He was a beloved son, a caring brother, and a cherished uncle. He was the devoted son of Margaret and the late Ronald Kriner Sr. He leaves behind his loving sister, Darlene Schaeffer, and his brothers, Daniel and Keith Kriner. Ronnie was also a beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews, as well as a granduncle to many great-nieces and great-nephews, who will all miss his playful spirit and gentle nature. Those who knew Ronnie will remember him for his love of life's simple joys. He was a frequent visitor to Dover Downs Casino, where he enjoyed the thrill of the games and the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts. His laughter and enthusiasm were infectious, and he could often be found recounting tales of his adventures there to anyone who would listen. Ronnie lived his life with a kindness that was evident to all who met him. He was a man of quiet strength, facing his illness with the same grace and fortitude with which he approached all of life's challenges. His presence was a source of comfort and stability to his family, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to have known him. As we bid farewell to Ronnie, we celebrate the life of a man who was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his gentle spirit. Ronnie's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the enduring bonds of family. Ronnie's journey through life was a testament to the power of love, the importance of family, and the value of friendship. As we reflect on the time we were privileged to share with him, we are reminded of the preciousness of each moment and the lasting impact one person can have on so many lives. Ronnie's story is not one of sorrow, but rather a celebration of a life well-lived and a man well-loved. And in the words of his great- nephew "FLY HIGH UNCLE RONNIE" Funeral Service and Interment will be private.
