Born on September 5, 1978, in Reading, PA, Shane's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him.
Shane's parents, Earl Bare Jr. and Cheryl Bare, and his brother, Christopher Bare, preceded him in death. Their memories were a constant source of strength and inspiration for Shane, who carried their legacy forward with every kind-hearted deed.
He is survived by his estranged wife, Kimberly Bare; his sister, Shannon Iswalt, and her husband, Joel Iswalt; his nephews, Logan, Mason, Gabriel, and Jonas; his nieces, Kylee and Isabel; his stepsons, Spirit and Sequoia Alabovitz.
Shane was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School and later attended Kutztown University, where he pursued his passion for elementary education. Although he did not follow a traditional professional path, Shane's rich knowledge and spirited personality made him a beloved figure. His genuine interest in people and his innate ability to connect with others were among his most cherished attributes.
Those who knew Shane will remember him as a man of great spirit and humor. His ability to light up a room with his presence and leave a lasting impression on those he met was unparalleled. Shane's dog, Lucy, was a faithful companion, providing him with comfort and joy in his final years.
